Treatless Rewards

As much as I love to make a BIG deal of Ramadan and Eid, I absolutely HATE associating it with mere candy. Sure, I’ll give them candy/chocolate once every few days in Ramadan, but I don’t obsess over it. So, I have curated a few rewards to give my kids some sense of accomplishment! I am still adding to these, bare with me, but here is what I have so far!

The first is some cute finds at none other than the Dollar Tree! That’s right, sometimes things are right at the tip of our nose, and we don’t notice. I know, though that the Dollar Tree does have seasonal items and I believe these are seasonal…so I would go grab them ASAP! Kids love little trinkets like these especially when they are considered rewards!

These are some real cute and easy pencils! I love pencils for several reasons… first, kids stare at their pencils so long, so it subconsciously creates a sense of belonging and pride to Ramadan/Eid. Second, they are a small gesture that last a very long time and can create tons of fun! Finally, they are super cheap making them great stocking stuffers and gifts to send to school.
